Feeling like a prisoner?

During this period of lock down, many people are living independently, some are with loved ones and some are with others they wouldn’t chose to be living with during this period.  Life can be difficult for a multitude of reasons so here are some ideas, websites, links to videos that maybe useful to find some self-compassion.

If you google Brene Brown or Tara Brach you will find some views and words from them that could inspire you.
There is a website called https://www.compassionatemind.co.uk/  This contains lots of exercises and advise for you to work through.
One technique is to practise the ‘Self Compassion Break’ developed by Dr Kristin Neff. This little film was developed by Compassion for Voices and integrates the Compassionate Mind Training (Paul Gilbert). 
The Pixar movie Inside Out is good for explore emotions etc.
I offer this as a pic ‘n’ mix of sources of support.  Some of all of these may be useful but if they aren’t, there are many more websites that can help.
